We take our eyes for granted even after knowing that they are crucial to us. We are just busy with rest of our body avoiding our eyes which may need more care than other parts of the body. Lack of eye care can cause frequent problems like dark circles and tiny wrinkles at the corner of the eyes. But they can be cured very easily with few simple steps. They can be very helpful to you in taking care of your eyes.

These simple steps are as follows

Proper rest

Eyes are the part which is used the most than any other one. You may even suffer from a migraine if you drive at night coming in contact with bright light from the opposite side. If you give proper rest to them, then the chances of a migraine are reduced very much. And resting can play a vital role in taking care of your vision.

Appropriate diet

To take care of your eyes, proper fruits and vegetable intake are very important. The best of them are the ones in yellow color as they are rich in beta carotene and can help in improving and maintaining excellent vision health. These fruits and vegetables include papaya, mangoes, squash, and even spinach.

Intake of water

Intake of waterThe area around the eyes is full of blood vessels, and the skin is very soft. Drinking a lot of water can help in reducing the puffiness. Every time our body is dehydrated, it retains some water, and that results in puffiness around our eyes. It is recommended to drink about 8 to 10 glasses of water a day. It also detoxifies our body.

Exercise your eyes

You heard it right! Your eyes too need exercise. Exercising supplies more oxygen to your eyes which in return helps in better functioning. These exercises prove to be very relaxing. This process is very easily. You need to close your eyes for just 30 seconds and rotate your eyeballs in between your work whenever you get time. Move them right to the left and then up and down. There is another one who can help you prevent blurred vision. Hold a pencil at arm’s length concentrating on it and very slowly bring it close to your eyes. Just that simple!

Prevent rubbing

The most sensitive part of the body is our eyes. You should avoid rubbing to take proper care of them. While doing so, it can stop causing more irritation. To counter rubbing start blinking them. It is advisable to wash your eyes with milk if you find some strange matter in your eyes. Irritation will be stopped soon as milk proves to be a natural cleanser.
